Packaging machinery engineering, with cooling at its core.

From a machine that has stopped to a line you want running better, here is what our engineer does and how each job starts.

Two ways to start

Every job begins one of two ways. Most begin with the free video call.

Option one · Free

Video consultation

We arrange a video call and you show our engineer the machine on your phone. We work out the fault with you, live, then send a clear estimate for the repair. Accept it and we book the engineer in.

Request a video consultation

Option two · Chargeable

Site assessment

An engineer visits to inspect the machine in person and sets out what the repair involves. The assessment is chargeable, and if you go ahead with the repair, the fee is deducted from the repair cost.

What we do

The work our engineer carries out on packaging lines and the cooling equipment behind them.

Breakdown repair

Fault finding and repair on site when a packaging machine stops or will not run to speed.

  • Mechanical, electrical and control faults
  • Repairs to get production moving again
  • Advice on preventing a repeat

Cooling systems

The specialism. Chillers, cooling circuits and the temperature control that chilled packaging lines depend on.

  • Chiller and cooling unit faults
  • Water cooled sealing jaws and cooling circuits
  • Temperature control problems on the line

Free video consultation

Remote diagnosis over a video call, so most problems are understood before anyone travels.

  • No charge for the consultation
  • Fault assessed live with you
  • Estimate sent afterwards

Site assessment

An engineer visits to inspect the machine in person. Chargeable, and deducted from the repair if you go ahead.

  • For faults that need hands on inspection
  • Written findings and an estimate
  • Fee comes off the repair bill

Planned maintenance

Scheduled servicing that catches wear before it turns into downtime.

  • Inspection, adjustment and servicing
  • Cooling system checks
  • Visits planned around production

Sealing performance

Help with seal quality, jaw temperature and the problems that lead to leaking or rejected packs.

  • Seal integrity and leak problems
  • Jaw temperature and pressure settings
  • Worn sealing components

Installation and relocation

Installing, moving and recommissioning packaging machinery and its cooling equipment.

  • New and used machine installation
  • Line moves and reinstallation
  • Recommissioning and testing

Upgrades and parts

Improving the machines you already own and tracking down the parts they need.

  • Upgrades and refurbishment
  • Parts identification and sourcing
  • Cooling equipment upgrades

Machines we work on

The cooling specialism

Why cooling matters on a packaging line

Chilled product depends on temperature being held from filling to sealing. When a chiller, cooling circuit or water cooled sealing jaw fails, product waits, seals suffer and the cold chain is put at risk. That is the side of the machine our engineer specialises in.

It is also why the service sits within the Coolways group, which has supplied chilled packaging solutions since 2005.
